GORDON, CORINNE (EATMON), 89, passed away Monday, October 24, 2011 at Jewish Hospital.
She was born in Glasgow, KY to Jake and Josephine (Gibbs) Eatmon. Corinne was a homemaker and had been a clerk at K-Mart with 11 years service.
She was a member of Beechland Baptist Church, Hobart Beach VFW Post Ladies Auxiliary, Beechland Baptist Livewires and volunteered at the Red Cross for years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 29 years, Clifton Gordon; a daughter, Anita Cureton and a great-grandson, Justin Cureton.
Survivors include her children, Linda Baldwin, Nanette Cunningham (Joseph), Michael D. Gordon (Debbie) and a son-in-law, Donald Cureton; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. "Her Family was her World." Funeral service will be noon Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Thursday, 4 - 8 p.m.
