SELF, COVA JENKINS, 96, of Jeffersonville, IN, formerly of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012.

She was born November 27, 1915 in Grayson County, Kentucky to the late Alvey and Elsie Huff. Cova had retired from the Courier-Journal and was a member of the Newburg Christian Church.

Preceding her in death, other than her parents, were two sons, Louis and Don Jenkins.

She is survived by her son, Michael Jenkins; a daughter-in-law, Karen Jenkins; grandchildren, Bob Rogers (Sandy), Debbie Coulter (Tim), Dan Jenkins (Leonora), Keith Jenkins (Lisa), Matt Jenkins (Lorie), Laura Aubrey (Rusty) as well as 12 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 19, 2012 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
