Sydnor, Coy Everett,

82, of Louisville passed away Monday July 7, 2014 at Jewish Hospital.

He was born in Hart Co., Ky. August 2, 1931. Coy was a retired machinist for American Synthetic Rubber Company. He was a veteran & served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was a Kentucky Colonel & a member of the Shively Masonic Lodge & 9th & O Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by his first wife, Norma Sydnor; eldest son, Mark Sydnor & youngest son, Kelly Sydnor.

Survivors include his second and loving wife of 29 years, Charlotte Sydnor; daughter, Robin Fletcher (Mike), brother, Joseph A. Sydnor (Ann); sister, Betty Sue Smith (Jack); Step children Robin Thompson (Ron) & Todd Sharp; grandchildren, Danny Wolz, Jennifer Ritter, Step grandchildren, Robbie Thompson, Tyler Sharp & Taylor Sharp, great grandchildren, Regan Wolz and Landon Ritter; and his loving Shit-Tzu (dog) Sweet Pea. We love you Baby.

Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Saturday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2:00 - 8:00 pm Friday.
