WILDER, CURTIS J., 76, of South Louisville, passed away Friday January 21, 2011 at his home.
He was a native of Harlan County, KY, a retired employee of the old International Harvester and Armor Foods, attended Freedom Missionary Baptist Church and was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Wilder.
He is survived by a daughter, Tammie Wilson (Brad); a son, Shannon Wilder; stepdaughter, Janet Arnold (Mike); stepsons, Jimmie (Angelina), Gary (Denise) and Glenn Rains (Susie); sisters, Beulah Broughton, Susie Fletcher, Martha Hensley, Eva Hatfield, and Ada Burris; grandchildren, Michele Ford, Melissa Baker, Clarissa, McKenzie and Abigail Rains, Ethan and Haley Wilder and Curtis Wilson; and four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Mr. Wilder's life will be held at noon Tuesday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with interment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday.
