BUCHANAN, DAISY SLAYTON, 87, passed away on January 4, 2012.
She was a retired employee of Georgetown Manor Nursing Home, a member of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church where she enjoyed her membership with the Leisure Club.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Elbert Slayton and Raymond Buchanan.
Survivors include her children, Douglas Slayton (Nancy), Betty Seewer (Bill), David Slayton (Rhonda), and Mike Slayton (Katrina); 10 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren with one on the way; and her sisters, Exie Elliott and Linvia Gibson.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2 - 8 p.m. Friday.
