Ashby, Damon H. View/Sign Guest Book ASHBY, DAMON H., 72, of Louisville, passed away Monday, June 16, 2008 at Baptist Hospital East. He was the owner of D. H. Ashby Home Builders, former member of Louisville Home Builders Association , Louisville Realtors Association and the Louisville JC. He was a member of Shivley Masonic Lodge #951 F&AM., Scottish Rite, Kosair Shrine and a Kentucky Colonel. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his brothers, James and Edward Ashby. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, the former Helen Montgomery; children, Kenneth and Sheryl Ashby; sisters, Lois Haas, Wanda Vonsick and June Staples. Funeral services: 10 a.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd. Burial: Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation: 2-8 p.m. Wednesday.
