He was a chemist, employed by General Electric, a member of Southeast Christian Church and attended Highview Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Lee Reed; and brother, Glenn Reed.
He is survived by his sons, Cristopher and Austin Reed; mother and stepfather, Stella and Edward Klinglesmith; and brother, Doug Klinglesmith.
His funeral is 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is noon-8 p.m. on Monday.
