David F. Gibson ShareE-mail Visit Guest Book GIBSON, DAVID F., 66, of Pleasure Ridge Park, passed from this life Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was a native of Paris, TN, a retired layout inspector at the Ford Motor Co. Kentucky Truck Plant where he worked for 35 years, a Marine veteran and a Baptist by faith. David was a loving and devoted husband and father and he adored his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Helen Blackburn and Wanda England. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, the former Jane Parsons; a daughter, Renee Hoskins (David); a son, Scott Gibson (Stephanie); a sister, Marilyn Smith (Raymond); brothers, Bob, Floyd, and Mitchell Gibson; grandchildren, Jacob and Jared Hoskins and Garrett Gibson. A celebration of Mr. Gibson's life will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial gifts may be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
