David Gibson

GIBSON, DAVID L., 66, passed away Saturday May 3, 2014 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. He was a retired firefighter for the City of Shively and a member of Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Loraine Gibson. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Patricia Gibson; sons, Chris (Tanya) and Eddie (Tracy) Gibson; daughter, Julie Harris (Rob); brothers, Butch, Ed and Tommy Gibson; sisters, Pat Kemper, Linda Tucker, and Connie Renfro; and grandchildren, Jacob, Kaitlin, Jackson, Ashton, Claire, Grant and Luke. His funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Mary Queen of Peace, 4005 Dixie Highway. Burial will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation: Wednesday, 11a.m.- 8p.m. at Ratterman Grand Chapels 4832 Cane Run Road. Memorial contributions are suggested to Alzhiemers Association.
