David Lewis

David Allen Lewis, 52, passed away of cardiac complications, on Monday June 21, 2021, at his residence in Louisville.  He was born on September 2, 1968, in Louisville, Kentucky the son of the late John Gray and Beverly Lewis (Walter Reid).  David enjoyed sports, was an avid UK fan, loved cornhole, karaoke, music, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.   He will be remembered as having a huge heart and always making everyone laugh.  He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving daughter Katie Lewis (Josh) who was "Daddy's Girl" and his pride and joy, sister, Sheila Lewis, brothers, Kenneth Lewis (Michelle), Glenn Lewis (Gina), Jack Lewis, and “Little” David Lewis, uncle, Ferg Taylor, cousins, nieces, nephews and was the “Best” friend to many. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his niece, Teri Lewis and cousin, Richard Taylor.  A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday June 25, 2021, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.  A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home with cremation to follow.
