WILLIAMSON, DAVID ARGYLE, 70, of Louisville, passed away Friday, September 25, 2009.
Mr. Williamson was born on November 7, 1938 in Louisville, KY. He was an only child. Mr. Williamson graduated from St. Xavier High School in 1955. He will be remembered for his love of literature and politics, mean bank shot, mastery of bridge, once competitive golf handicap, and, as Frank Sinatra would say, living life "My Way." He was preceded in death by his parents, Argyle Francis and Ocie May Williamson, and his former wife; Dee Williamson.
He is survived by four sons, Steve, Jamie, Ben and Robert Williamson; three daughters, Carrie, Patricia and Amy Williamson; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two former wives, Bonnie Williamson and Letty Ransdell.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Arch L. Heady & Son - Cralle Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2428 Frankfort Avenue, with interment at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Sunday.
