Deanna Heffernan

HEFFERNAN, DEANNA COX, 75, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2014. She retired from Parker Inc., and she was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church and the AOPA. Deanna was born on July 14, 1938 in Greenville, KY to the late Joseph and Juanita (Stewart) Cox. Deanna is survived by her two sons, Joseph W. Jr., and Timothy B. Heffernan (Debbie), brothers, Dariel, Randall, Cary and Steve Cox; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews; and Woody and Tiger, her faithful companions. Deanna will be truly missed by all. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). A funeral ceremony will be held Wednesday at 12:30 pm at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus.
