MELLETT, DELORES FRANCES, 82, of Louisville, passed away, Tuesday February 12, 2013 at SS. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
She was the former Delores Wheatley, an artist with a passion for painting, and a member of Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Parker; brother J. B. and sister, Mary Rose. She is survived by a daughter, Darlene Wheatley (Kenny); a son, Steve Mellett (Rhonda); three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A service to celebrate Mrs. Mellett's life will be held at noon Friday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Interment will follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Thursday. Memorial gifts may be made to her church.
