WOOSLEY, DIANE VOLMER, 55, went home to God last week after suffering for years from chronic disease.
Diane was preceded in death by her father, Charles Volmer and husband, Earl Woosley. Our Diane was generous and giving. She was particularly attuned to those with chronic diseases and the elderly. Homebound herself, she made daily "check in" calls to the elderly. Born with a good ear for music, Diane wrote songs, played the guitar, and enjoyed musical theater.
Diane leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother, Barbara Volmer, and sisters Christine Hovan (Ed) and Kathleen Duym. She will be missed by her aunt, Betty Volmer and uncles Mark Young (Marilyn) and Doug Young (Terry) and Erin and Jon Duym (Danielle), her niece and nephew.
Her funeral is Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Bernadette Church Parish Center, 6500 St. Bernadette Ave., Prospect, KY 40059.
Expressions of sympathy made be made to the St. Bernadette Building Fund.
