Donald Lee Gabhart

Donald Lee Gabhart, 89, passed away on October 18, 2023, at the Masonic Home of Louisville. He was born on August 7, 1934 to the late Grosto and Rose Elizabeth Grubbs Gabhart. Donald retired from the Louisville Gas and Electric Company. Donald was a member of the Robinson-Plumb Masonic Lodge #266 and a lifetime member of Camden Avenue Christian Church. He was a CB Radio operator, enjoyed going to the Greenwood Boat Dock and an avid UK Basketball fan and a Navy veteran. Most of all Donald enjoyed spending time with his family.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Gabhart. He is survived by his children, Sharon Toms (Terry), Mike Gabhart (Dory) and step-son, Roger Lee (Donna); grandchildren, Shawn (Missy), Kyle (Kristen), Amy, Whitney (Jack), Jason and Jonathon; several great grandchildren; and his sister Nancy Rose Noble.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens West Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be from 10:00 am Wednesday until time of the service at the funeral home.
