Donald Haggard

HAGGARD, DONALD F. JR., 86, of Louisville, passed away March 8, 2014. Don was born on August 19, 1927 in Traverse City, Michigan and served in the Navy during World War II. He graduated from Michigan State University, North Carolina State University, and received his PhD from the University of Iowa. He was employed as a research scientist with the Human Resources Research Organization and the Army Research Institute. He retired in 1990. Don was an elder and member of Faith Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Golda Joan Haggard. He is survived by his children, Donald F. Haggard, III of Mt. Washington, KY., Kaylee Haggard of Cincinnati, and Annlynn Haggard of Louisville; granddaughter, Kristen Hudspath of Murray; four great-grandchildren; his sister, Sandra Kilinski of Traverse City, Michigan; and his sister-in-law, Casilda Haggard of Detroit, MI. His funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Faith Presbyterian Church, 9800 Stonestreet Road with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. There will be no visitation.
