GRIPP, DONNA DOWNS, 60, wife of Kenneth Gripp and sister of Joyce Ann Brown, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Essex Nursing & Rehab Center.
Born in Louisville, April 12, 1951, she is the daughter of the late William J. Mullins and Ethel Schildknecht Mullins Ware.
Besides her husband and sister, she is survived by her daughters, Terri Downs Brown and Amy Michelle Eye; and six grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Eye, Zackary Allen Eye, William James Eye, Brandon James Griffett, Michelle Kay Perry and Cassidy Marie-Jean Brown.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Kenneth Downs.
A service celebrating Donna's life will be held 7 p.m. Friday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Friday until service time.
