Donnalyn Edds

EDDS, DONNALYN "DONNA," passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 14, 2014 . She was a wonderful wife and mother. She worked at Walgreens for 25 years and had sold ladies shoes at Selman's Dept. Store for many years. She loved to bowl and was an avid league player, she also loved playing Bunco with her neighbors. Donna was a huge U of L basketball fan! She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Edward Lee Edds; children, Shelia LaFond, Larry LaFond (Anita), Mark Edds (Linda) and Gayle Armstrong (Kendal); a sister, Marcella Coomer (Norwood); grandchildren, Johnny, Cathy and Malorie; great-grandchildren, Kimber and Jackson; and many nieces and nephews she dearly loved. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Ratterman Grand Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Road. Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Friday. Burial Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
