SMITH, DORIS ELAINE HALL, 93, passed away on November 6, 2011 at Audubon Hospital with her family by her side.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 72 years, Kenneth W. Smith Sr.; daughters, Barbara DeHart (Mac), Sandra McDonald and Cheryl Reams; son, Kenneth W. Smith Jr. (Travis Block); seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Doris was a homemaker and a wonderful cook, a former employee of Belknap and former member of Audubon Country Club. She loved her family, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, animals, and "the boat." Visitation will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday followed by a memorial service and private burial.
The family request in lieu of flowers, that a memorial gift be made to WHAS Crusade for Children or the Alzheimer's Association .
