Doris Miller-Booth

MILLER-BOOTH, DORIS P., 81, of Louisville, passed away Monday February 10, 2014 at Baptist Health Louisville. She was a retired employee of the old South Central Bell Telephone Co., a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, CWA local 3310, Louisville Girls High School Alumnae, and Cloverleaf Baptist Church. Doris was preceded in death by her father and mother, Robert Pigg and Zelma Avitt-Pigg; and her husbands, Fred H. Miller and Floyd H. Booth. She is survived by a sister Wanda P. Fey; stepdaughter Rose Anna Booth; nephew, Dennis Wren; nieces Christi Carroll and Dana Smith; and other nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with interment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial gifts may be made to Cloverleaf Baptist Church
