BEST, DOROTHY E., 92, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Rockford Manor.

She was the daughter of Minnie and Anthony Welsh. She attended the University of Louisville and was employed by the old County Board of Education. She was a cost accountant for General Plywood and Porter Paints. She and her husband, Joseph, were founding members of St. Lawrence and Church of The Incarnation.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband; their parents; and brother, Tony.

She is survived by her children, Susan and Joe; and her twin sister, Mildred Jacobs.

Visitation will be 1-5 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Keenan's Funeral Home, 4724 Dixie Hwy. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, December 10, 2012 at Church of the Incarnation, 2229 Lower Hunters Trace with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.

Family requests expressions of sympathy be donated to the St. Vincent DePaul Society.
