Dorothy Burcham

BURCHAM, DOROTHY JEAN "MAMMIE," 82, of Louisville, KY, returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, November 15, 2013 at Kindred Hospital. She was a retired employee of General Electric with 23 years of service. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Edward K. Burcham. Survivors include her four children, Sharon Mattingly (Michael), Susan Scott (Jack), David W. Burcham and Donna Nash (Jimmy); three grandchildren, Terry L. Scott, Steven Nash (Kara) and Kurtis Nash; two great-grandchildren, Lilly and Gabriella Nash; a brother, Don Meredith (Sharon); three sisters, Darlene Vaughn, Geneta Griffin and Sandy Prunty; brothers-in-law, Kenneth and David Earl Burcham; and sisters-in-law, Beatrice Burcham and Glenda Stewart; She is also survived by two very special family friends, Lee Warner and Jason Hand and the family cat, Chi Chi (Wanda). Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Monday and After 9 a.m. Tuesday.
