Dorothy Craven

Craven, Dorothy Jean,76, of Shepherdsville, KY, passed from this life on Sunday August 30, 2015. A native of Garfield, KY, she was the former Dorothy Thompson, a retired employee of Louisville Tile Co., and a member of Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Frankie Craven; a son Brad Craven (Nancy); daughter, Pamela Craven Steen; sister Pat Schladand (Charlie); brother, Michael Thompson (Cindy); and grandchildren, Shelby, Matthew, Isabel, and Emily. A service to celebrate Dorothy's life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
