DALTON, DOROTHY M. (ARMES), 89, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the GoldenLiving Center (Camelot). Dorothy was a native of Bowling Green, KY and had retired from Stewart's Dry Goods. She was a member of the old Herald-Johnson General Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Charles Dalton; two sisters, Eva Simpson and Joyce Hayes.
Survivors include her two daughters, Gloria Worf and Gwen Hobbs; four grandchildren, Melissa Williams, Kim Mattingly, Steve Hutchins and Lisa Scott; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Marion E. Armes and Ronnie Armes; four sisters, Idella Phelps, Nelda Massey, Ada Howell and Jean Higgs Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy., with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 10 a.m. -2 p.m. Wednesday.
