Dorothy Emmons

EMMONS, DOROTHY LEE, 94, passed away Friday, November 22, 2013. She was a retired sales associate at the old Bacon's Department Store and a member of Victory Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Emmons. She is survived by her loving sons, Ronald K. Emmons (Cecelia) and Michael W. Emmons (Sally); grandchildren, Shelese Woods (Steve), Shannon Tanner (Phil), Brian Emmons (Brooke), Steve Emmons, Dan Emmons (Tessa) and Amanda Bennett and 13 great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held Monday, 2 p.m. at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Dr., with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation: 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Rattermans
