Dorothy M. Von Kanel FLOYDS KNOBS - VON KANEL, DOROTHY M., 78, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Autumn Woods Health Campus in New Albany, IN.
She was born May 5, 1931 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late George and Lena Kessler. She was preceded in death by her husband Rinehart G. Von Kanel in February 1987 and 2 brothers.
Survivors include one son, Robert Von Kanel and his wife Linda of Floyds Knobs, IN; one sister, Evelyn Hupp of Louisville, KY; three grandchildren, Meghan, Kathryn, and Jillian Von Kanel.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, February 22, 2010 at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Home (1846 E. Oak St. New Albany, IN). Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Home.
Internment will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens West, Louisville, KY.
Expressions of sympathy may be given to Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
