Dorothy Lindsey

LINDSEY, DOROTHY RAY (CARTER) MILLER, 93, passed away on November 25, 2013.

She was a retired employee of Philip Morris, a member of Eastern Star and Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Wesley Miller and Pleas Lindsey; her brother, Homer Carter, and sisters, Loretta Guidry and Irene Carter.

Survivors include her daughter, Glenda Lee Archer (Glenn); grandchildren, Tonia Williams (Steven), Teresa Allen, Buddy Archer (Andrea), and Melissa Massey (Tyronne); 10 great-grandchildren, Robert, Lynn, Brandon, B. J., Samantha, Jadyn, Sara, Sydnie, Justin and Emily; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
