Dorothy Nell Newman ShareE-mail Visit Guest Book NEWMAN, DOROTHY NELL, 91, of Louisville, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009. She was a member of the South Jefferson Baptist Church and the Beechwood Baptist Church. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Jackson C. Newman Jr.; daughters, Carol Jean Newman and Marcella Campbell; four sisters; and granddaughter, Theresa Holsinger. Survivors include her daughters, June Holsinger and Mabry Ann Hunley; sisters, Mary Yokley and Jane Shain; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Her service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Hardy Funeral Home with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral Home.
