ROBINSON, DOROTHY, 86, formerly of Shepherdsville, KY, was born in September 26, 1925 in South Louisville to the late James and Ruby Harris Poggenborg and returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday May 11, 2012 in Atlanta, GA, while surrounded by loved ones and friends.

Mrs. Robinson was retired from Bremmer Biscuit Co., a member of North Bullitt Christian Church and Star of Hope Chapter No. 183 Order of the Eastern Star. She and her husband M.L., along with the Brooks family were responsible for bringing the Schoppenhorst Funeral Home to Bullitt County in 1991, where she served on the company board of directors. Mrs. Robinson was a lovely lady and will be missed by those whom she knew and loved.

Among others, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lloyd Robinson.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved sons, James Robinson, of Atlanta and Lloyd Robinson and his wife Kathy, of Atlanta; two grandchildren, Karen Miller and her husband Dave, of Washington, D.C. and Stephen Robinson, of Seattle, Wash.; two brothers, Harry Poggenborg and Raymond Poggenborg, both of Louisville; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday at the Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home, Preston Highway at Brooks Road from noon- 8 p.m., where services will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday. Burial will follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West
