Dorothy Ann Williams ShareE-mail Visit Guest Book WILLIAMS, DOROTHY ANN, 86, of Louisville, passed away Friday, May 1, 2009. She was the former Dorothy Burkhead, born in Grayson County, KY. Dorothy was a most loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who devoted her life to her family. She retired from Philip Morris and was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester C. Williams; and sister, Leona Litsey. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Stephens (Ken), Beverly Morfeld (Robert), Debbie Best (Ray), and Mary Jo Williams-Bean (Robert); grandchildren, Laura Stephens Elmore, Katie Best Harris, Rachel Best Alexander, and Andrew Bean; and four great-grandchildren, Spencer, Taylor, Alec, and Emma. She is also survived by her sisters, Victoria Clark, Juanita Moore, Cynthia Burkhead, Bernice McCombs; brother, Morris Burkhead; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at St. Denis Catholic Church, 4205 Cane Run Road, with entombment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be noon-8 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2009, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Mass of the Air.
