Douglas Kirkness

KIRKNESS, DOUGLAS H., 77, died Monday, August 26, 2013. He was a retired music salesman and Army veteran. He was preceded in death by six brothers and a sister. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary White; children, Danny Kirkness and Jenny Caudill (Jerry); grandchildren, Jenna Kirkness and Robert Caudill; great-granddaughter, Savannah Kirkness; and sisters, Claudia Walker and Dolly Merkins. His funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 3-8 p.m Wednesday.
