He was a native of Carbon Hill, AL, a retired Navy veteran and a Baptist by faith. Survivors include his wife, Bettie Cox Robbins; sons, Dale, Mark and Larry Robbins; Melton and Daniel Tuberville; daughters, Vickie Steidel, Lisa Fenley, Cheryl Klatt, Karen Cattrell, Cindy Hinkle, Diane Bellrose and Kimberly Juliana; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Keenan's Funeral Home, 4724 Dixie Hwy., with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Monday.
