Durward C. Reynolds Share E-mail Visit Guest Book REYNOLDS, DURWARD C., 88, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2010.
He was a retired employee of Philip Morris where he worked for 32 years, a 50-year member of Rockford Lane Baptist Church where he was a deacon and a member of the choir, and an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, and beloved by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Louria Reynolds; his brothers, William, Leon, Ivo and Harold Reynolds, and sisters, Virgie Wright and Zella Judd.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 64 years, Silovine (Bryant) Reynolds; his children, Roger Dale Reynolds Sr. (Gabie) and Deborah Sue Bridgewater (Gregory); grandchildren, Roger Dale Reynolds, Jr. (Virginia Campbell), Susette Roark (Michael), Elizabeth Ann Sturm (Robert), and Brian Lee Bridgewater; great grandchildren, Ryan and Kelsey Roark, Ella Grace and Nicholas Tybenn Sturm; his brother, Ray Wilson Reynolds (Eva); and sister, Katheryn Loy; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. EST Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from noon 8 p.m. EST Thursday.
