Hogg, Earl "Sonny" Jr.,69, passed away Tuesday May 26, 2015 at his residence.He was born in Letcher County, KY to Earl and Willie Mae (Benton) Hogg.Earl was a retired Parts Salesman for Byerly Ford, with over 25 years service and a longtime member of Beechland Baptist Church,Valley Masonic Lodge # 511 F.&AM, Scottish Rite, Kosair Shrine, O.E.S. Chapter # 511, and the River City Corvette Club.He was preceded in death by his parents, his 1st wife, Priscilla (Taylor) Hogg and his 2nd wife, Jacqueline (DeGraff) Hogg.Survivors include his loving daughter, Tina Mack (Tim); a grandson, Thomas Mack; two sisters, Anna Jo Jones (Jimmy) and Sue Basham; three nieces and nephews, James E Jones (Peggy), Larry Jones (Vicky) and Angie Jones; a great-nephew: Kenny Jones; his "2nd daughter" Jami Thompson; his loving dog, "Brandy" and many many friends.Funeral services will be 12 noon Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday.
