Earl Jeffries

Jeffries, Earl View/Sign Guest Book JEFFRIES, EARL, 85, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2008. He was a retired mechanic for the U.S. Army at Ft. Knox, where he worked for 32 years and an Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Jeffries. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Hazel Lorine Jeffries; daughter-in-law, Linda Jeffries; daughter, Joyce Nall (Roy); sisters, Mary Shouse and Daisy Jones; grandchildren, Todd Jeffries (Sunni), Eric Jeffries (Hayden), Kaley Akins (Brian) and Shannon Conway (Todd); and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
