MALONE, EARL EUGENE, 82 passed away Friday, December 18, 2009 at his home with his loving family at his side.
He was a native of St. Berniece , IN, a veteran of the US Navy World War II, and retired president and owner of Mutual Wallpaper and Paint Co. for 32 years.
He was a longtime member of Clifton Christian Church where he served as a deacon, elder, bible school superintendent and treasurer. He was a member of Dana and Montezuma, IN Masonic Loges over 60 years, and a KY Colonel.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Barbara Luckett Malone; his daughter, Marianne Kindler (Randy); two sons, Kelly (Judy) and Matthew (Paula); two granddaughters, Amy and Christine; two grandsons, Austin and Ethan; one great-grandson, Noah; his brother, Norman Keith Malone; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Malone will be held at noon on Monday in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son & Cremation services 7410 Westport Road with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday; after 11 a.m. Monday.
