Eddie Watson

Eddie Lamar Watson, 71, was born June 17, 1943 in Leitchfield to Richard and Ruby Watson. He was a Louisville native, but died August 27, 2014 at the Ralph John VA in Charleston, South Carolina. Mr. Watson passed away with his family by his side.
Eddie attended DuPont Manual High School prior to his four year, honorable service in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed traveling, bowling, fishing, and spending time with his family eating home cooked meals together. Eddie is survived by his daughter, Robin Storey, and three grandchildren, Paul W. Schurman, III, Alene Storey and Isabel Storey. Also surviving are his siblings who live throughout the surrounding Louisville area; Robert Watson, Carol Watson-Holbert, and Dennis Watson, along with Eddie's nieces and nephews.
Although a memorial service was held with his ashes on Friday August 29, 2014 in Charleston. A small graveside service and burial will be held this Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 10AM. The service will take place at Louisville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 4400 Dixie Highway in Louisville.
