PITTS, EDITH, 85, of Louisville, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at the Forum at Brookside.
She was a member of Middletown First Baptist Church, a member of the Eastern Star and the Middletown Homemakers Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris "M.C." Pitts; a sister, Christine Stolson; and two brothers, James Gilbert Morgan and Eugene "Zeke" Davis Morgan.
Mrs. Pitts is survived by her children, Judy Bruce (Paul), Beverly Minnich (Randy) and Kevin Pitts (Kelly); grandchildren, Brad Branham (Diane), Julie Minnich Lee (Nate), David Minnich, Brandon Pitts and Sam Pitts; five great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Mary Singleton and Jo Cummins.
Funeral ceremony will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Middletown First Baptist Church, 11721 Main St., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Tuesday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Dr. and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at her church.
