Edna Denham

Denham, Edna,90, of Louisville passed away on January 11, 2015. Edna retired from Philip Morris. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, and playing dice, but especially loved spending time with her family.Edna was born on March 22, 1924, in Broadford, KY to the late Samuel and Josie (Logsdon) Kessinger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William "Bill" Denham and grandson, Dwight Johnson.Edna is survived by her daughters, Barbara Comstock (Marvin), Betty Mason (Butch), and Beverly Burge; brother, Earl Kessinger; sister, Ollie Mae Voght (Bob); grandchildren, Dwayne Comstock (Laura), Deanna Robertson (Larry), Melissa Whicker (Scott), Michelle Lasley (Ron), Melynda Mason, and William "Eddie" Sparks (Angie); 12 great-grandchildren; special niece, Mary Jo Warren (Jim); special family members, Jeanie Horsley (Ronnie) and Theresa Roller (Al); and a host of extended family.Visitation is from 2-8 pm Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). Edna's funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens - West.
