Edna Grant

Edna Louise Grant, 93, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed at her home on Friday, May 20, 2022.  She was born April 5, 1929, in Grayson County Kentucky to the late William and Mary (Lush) Heaverin.

She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and GG.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Laymon T. Grant; her 2 sisters, Cora and Anna Mae; 3 brothers, Charles, Russell and Jessie.

She is survived by her 7 children, Sheila Berry (Danny, deceased), Tom Grant (Steve), Oleta Tomes (Steve), Kenny Grant, Ramona Cox (Danny), Wanda Fowler (Pat) and Eva Grant; 15 grandchildren, Stephanie (Wayde), Alan, Mark (Sarah), Chris, Jason, Dana, Jeremy (Lauren), David, Megan (Jason), Jennifer (Nathan), Jamie (Josh), Amy, Patrick, Kayla (Randy), Shelby (Santos); 19 great grandchildren,  Joe, Cameron, Leigha, Oliver, Rylan, Bailey, Jacob, Madalynn, Cadance, Hadley, Emma, Liam, Alyza, Kira, Charlotte, Zaya, Amelia, Elise, Ronan; and 1 great -great grandchild, Camden; 4 sisters, Lynn, Jean, Rosie and Nellie; 1 brother, Edward; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

A funeral to celebrate Louise’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at 1PM at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home West, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Interment will follow privately at Louisville Memorial Gardens Cemetery West.
