Edward Lipscomb

LIPSCOMB, EDWARD ALDOLPH "SWINGING AL," 79, died Friday, August 23, 2013 at Jewish hospital. He was a native of Decatur, AL, a retired employee of Tube Turns, and a member of Phillips Memorial CME Church. Survivors include his wife, Gladys Lipscomb; three daughters, Wanda Lipscomb-Anderson of Louisville, Wendy Renee Tolliver (Anthony) of Georgia and Elizabeth Ann Lipscomb of Indianapolis, IN; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one grandson who preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Phillips Memorial CME Church, 3535 Grand Avenue with burial in the Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. at the church.
