Edward "Wayne" Morris, 69, loving husband to Sandra Floyd Morris, passed away on Friday January 23, 2015.
Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Henry W. and Hazel M. Meredith Morris, and sister, Linda L. Gribbins.
Wayne was a truck driver for Joe E. Stevens and a firefighter for Jeffersontown and Shelby County. He was an Army veteran , a member of American Legion Post #201 and the D.A.V.
Besides his wife of 25 years he is survived by children; David W. and Michael W. Morris, Peggy Minton (Daniel), Tammy Ernspiker, Shirley Barnes, and Teresa Armstrong (Joseph) along with sisters, Sue Woods and Barbara Stafford. He will also be missed by 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Donations can be made to the family through the funeral home.
