Edward Murray

Murray, Edward H. "Bud" Sr.,82 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015. He retired from General Electric where he served as a Union Representative until 1991. He was past president of the Kentucky Moose Association and a member of the Brandenburg Moose Lodge. Bud was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Shepherdsville, KY, and an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was also a member of VFW #1181. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Marie Murray; his daughter, Tina Louise Hilbert; his daughter-in-law, Donna Wyatt Murray; and his parents, George William Murray Sr. and Marianna Jewell Murray.Bud is survived by his loving children, Cheri Ballard (Steve), Ed Murray Jr. (Lisa), Dan Murray, Terry Lynn Walden, Robert Alan Murray Sr. (Andrea), Annette Frey and Angela Eagle (Michael); siblings, George "Bob" Murray Jr. and Patricia Murray O'nan; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.Funeral ceremony will be 11a.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 12, 2015, from 3-8 p.m.
