BRIGHT, ELAINE C., 89, passed into the arms of God on Friday, April 15, 2011 at Norton Audubon Hospital.
She was a member of Shively Heights Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Carl P. Bright, Sr.; and her son, Gerald T. Bright.
Survivors include three sons, Carl Bright, Jr., Douglas Bright, Sr., and Louis Bright (Maryann); 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, followed by entombment at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday.
Memorial gifts may be made to Wayside Christian Mission.
