Elbert Shepherd "LB" Share E-mail Visit Guest Book SHEPHERD, ELBERT "LB," 79, of Portland passed away Friday, November 20, 2009 at home with his loving family by his side.
He was retired forklift operator from General Electric, a member of Masonic Lodge formerly 147 and longtime member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Leamon Milam Shepherd; son, Elbert Shepherd (Mary); daughters, Lois Caswell (Kermit) and Karen Koufeldt (Bob); sisters, Fay Edwards, Jackie Lee and Patsy McGaha; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday J.B. Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 2114 W. Market St., with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Monday, 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
