Eleanor "Darlene" Whitson

Eleanor “Darlene” Whitson, 76, wife to the late Donald Whitson, passed away on Friday March 8, 2019 at Norton Audubon Hospital.  She was born to the late Charles and Ruby (Smith) Marlett in Carroll County, KY on October 28, 1942.  She is also preceded in death by three brothers, Ronnie, Ray, and Buster Marlett.

She is survived by her three sons, Don Whitson, Tim Whitson (Leah), and Gary Whitson (Kim), eight grandchildren, 15 ½ great-grandchildren and her brother Darrell Marlett along with several nephews and one niece.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Visitation will be Thursday from 3-7 pm at the funeral home.
