Elizabeth Gordon

Elizabeth E. Gordon, 87, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Fred E. Gordon; her parents, John and Nina Floyd; and her son, John E. Gordon.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Janet E. Owen; her grandson, John H. Gordon (Shelby); and her great-grandson, Wyatt Gordon; and her two lifelong best friends, Cissy Boone and Lois Robinson.

Elizabeth graduated from DuPont Manual High School in 1953 and remained close to her fellow classmates and was always there to assist in organizing their gatherings and most enjoyed their trips to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.  She enjoyed her collectibles of many types and spending time with her family.

Funeral Services to celebrate Elizabeth’s life will be held at 10AM on Friday, August 26, 2022, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home West, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Interment will immediately follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens Cemetery West.  Friends may call on the family Thursday from 2PM until 8PM at the funeral home.
