Elizabeth Paulin

PAULIN, ELIZABETH DELORES KNOPP, 85, of Louisville, died November 16, 2013. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and retired from Louisville Ladder. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, William N. Paulin; her parents, Herbert Lee and Flora Catherine Knopp; a daughter, Norma Jane Mee; three brothers, Louis Lee Knopp, Randle Coleman Knopp, and Michael Henry Knopp; a sister, Marietta Boone; and three great-grandchildren, Joshua L. and Joseph G. Lackey and Bailey Grace Blake. She is survived by six children, Jo Ann Paulin, of Nazareth KY, William ( Bill) Paulin and Mary Lee Worley of Louisville, KY, Deanna Hardin and Michael (Mike), of Robertsdale, AL, Starla Kay Roby and Philip A (Phil), of Corbin, KY, and Tammie Michele Evans and Patrick, of Elizabeth, IN; along with three sisters, Opal Christine Brown, Gloria Jean Latham, and Veronica Darlene Maraman; and a brother, Joseph D. Knopp; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitations will be Tuesday, November 19, 2013 from 1-8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at Keenan's Funeral Home, 4724 Dixie Highway, at Rockford Lane. Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with interment to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth.
