Elva Davenport

Elva F. Davenport, 99, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her loved ones Sunday June 22, 2014. She was born to the late George S. and Mary E. Alvey Grant in Grayson County, KY on August 4, 1914.
She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Mt. Washington. She devoted her life to her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William O. Davenport, sons, Ronald and George Davenport, siblings, Raymond and David Grant, Teresa Coffman, Irene Wright, and Eula Baum.
She is survived by daughters, Martha Martin (Leroy), Barbara Craig (Don), Phyllis Sullivan (Frank) and a very special daughter-in-law, Susan Davenport. She was loved and adored by 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
