Elzie Basham

Basham, Elzie B. View/Sign Guest Book BASHAM, ELZIE B., 86, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2008. He was a member of South Jefferson Baptist Church, a member of the Willis Stewart Lodge #224, Pipefitters Local # 522, and was an avid bowler and golfer. He retired from American Synthetic after 30 years as a Pipe Fitter. He was a Navy veteran and served in World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha E. (King) Basham; and parents, Maude (Cincebaugh) and Herman E. Basham. He is survived by his sons, Don Basham (Theresa), Larry Basham (Jeanie), and Dale Basham (Vicki); two brothers, Ruble and Virgil Basham; and two sisters Joann Heath and Nola Koch. His service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home.
